This is the flag of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted
in 1993.
Velid-aga Jerlagic, 13 April 1998
The Bosnia and Herzegovina Army Coat of Arms was promoted
today in Sarajevo. (BiH TV news - This is the first Coat of Arms
adopted without Schumacher, Steiner and Westendorp.)

I think the new insignia are actually for the army of the
Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Croatian news agency HINA reported this on 5 February.
HINA said the new army insignia had two black concentric circles
with lettering "Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina" and
"Federation Army", with the Federal coat-of-arms with
two swords in the middle. The agency also said that the coat of
arms of the Defence Ministry will be similar but with a blue
background. It was reported that the new insignia, soon to be
added to uniforms, were the result of a public competition.
Zeljko Heimer, 22 February 1998
Bosnia and Herzegovina don't have an air force. Gevernment
aircrafts have a national flag in the canton. I guess the they
also carry the appropiate arms (national, RS or Federation) on
the fuselage as this Cessna 500 of Republic of Srpska seen at
<www.airliners.net>.
Military Aircraft Insignia of the World [cos98] reported that a roundel was
used in 1992 (see <www.skytamer.com>) based on
the 1992 flag.
